Edit Sale is a luxury designer consignment business. The twice a year pop-up currently takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina where the co-founders are from and has recently expanded to Dallas, Texas.  It is a new one-of-a-kind platform that offers high end fashion to customers at a more palatable price while also working towards sustainability. Shoppers can expect gently used, high-end brands at a fraction of the original costs. The co-founders knew that an elevated consignment experience would draw more sellers and allow them to offer better luxury items. Together with the buyers and the sellers, Edit Sale promotes sustainability by choosing quality items that will last through the years over fast fashion. 

In 2016, co-founders Stephanie, Shelly and Jennifer were frustrated with the dwindling commission percentages and long payment turnaround times offered by local and online consignment companies. In addition, many of the luxury items sold by these retailers were outdated and poorly displayed with lower quality items. They were driven to elevate the experience for both buyers and sellers.  

The three friends launched Edit Sale in Jennifer’s carriage house Charlotte with only 5 consignors. It has grown to over 150 consignors in Charlotte and Dallas. The pop-up sale takes place over a 5 day period in a 7,000+ sq ft warehouse. Each season they collect over 5,000 pieces of designer clothes, shoes and handbags that are carefully curated and priced. While there can be a 2 hour wait to get in the first day, buyers will discover amazing items up until the last minutes of the sale. There is enough inventory for shoppers to have much success everyday the sale is open.
